Spondylosis
Spondylosis is the excessive bone production that occurs between spinal vertebrae in dogs. It is only rarely a cause of lameness or disability and should be considered as the cause of such problems only when there is nothing else that would explain the symptoms. It would be unusual, but not impossible, for it to be the cause of a crippling lameness.
