Question:
What are some diseases that are associated with your pet’s breed?
Answer:
I own a tabby cat who has feline herpes, and has had some bad outbreaks in the past. My vet says that recent studies show that as many as 95% of all cats may have feline herpes. I worry that my cat will have a bad outbreak, because it can lead to serious respiratory problems, eye problems, or other serious illness.

My Maltese puppy got the number one problem that I worried about before I bought her nearly right away. Her trachea collapsed when she was just four months old. She was the runt and she is a teacup who was given up too soon. They didn't take good care of her. I took her home a few days shy of 8 weeks old, only because I knew she was safer with me than the breeder. Collapsed Trachea is hell to go through. My puppy couldn't breathe and since she just suffered from mites that she contracted at birth from the breeders other dogs, it compromised her immune system.

As an owner of three Samoyeds I worry about them getting hip dysplasia. This is a common disease among Sammies. I watched their diets and gave supplements to help prevent the problem.
Answer:
I have a Pomeraninan as a pet and he loves chocolates very much. The problem is that, after eating chocolates, his fur falls at alarming rate and form patches of bald skin. Every time this happens, I take him to a Vet and the dog is given medicines to be mixed with food and to apply over the skin.
