Question:

What are some items you bring for your dog during travel?

Answer:

Whenever we have to travel with my Basset Hound, I always bring the blanket that he sleeps with.

Answer:

It gives him something that is familiar with, and the smell always calms him down and makes him tired.

Answer:

We find that two empty ice-cream buckets with lids make great food and water bowls for our Lab. The size is right, and the lids can go on and keep the contents from spilling, and it is no loss if they get left behind. We also find that an old fitted bed sheet works great to completely cover the car seat. Our Lab is a champion shedder, and the sheet makes cleaning the car much easier. My Maltese puppy loves to ride in the car, but she hates her carrier since she cannot be with me and my fiancee. So when we go on the plane, I put her in her little dog carrier with her favorite blanket and a few of her favorite toys. She sleeps like a dream in moving vehicles so she just curls up and falls asleep.

Answer:
