  • Niacin
  • Vitamin E
  • Pantothenic acid
  • Riboflavin
  • Pyridoxine hydrochloride
  • Thiamine mononitrate
  • Folic acid
  • Vitamin B 12
  • Magnesium
  • Calcium

The main ingredients used to make Lipo Form include natural compounds such as brewer’s yeast or cod liver oil.

Lipo Form Dosage for Dogs

Lipo Form is available in the form of tablets, which can also be palatable. The dosage is typically established by the vet, according to a dog's age, weight and health condition. The recommended dose should not be more than 1 tablet per 22 pounds (10 kg) of body weight. However, for severe liver disease and dietary deficiencies, the dose can be doubled. Don’t administer Lipo Form before you consult a vet.

The supplements can be added to the pet’s food or administered with a treat. The tablets are chewable, and typically, dogs like the taste of this type of supplement. The tablets shouldn’t be dissolved in water, as the dog may not drink all the water and may not ingest the entire dose.

Lipo Form Side Effects in Dogs

Lipo Form is considered a safe medication. No major side effects are reported. In rare cases, the dog may experience stomach upset, especially during the first days after starting the treatment. Ideally, Lipo Form should be administered only for short periods. If it is administered for long periods, a dog may start developing stomach irritation and even gastric ulcers. If these side effects occur, try administering the supplements together with the dog’s meals.

Lipo Form Cautions

Lipo Form should be kept out of the reach of children and pets. Make sure you administer only the recommended dose. In the case of an overdose, contact your veterinarian and try to induce vomiting with diluted peroxide.

Keep the tablets in a dry place at room temperature (no more than 40°C or 104°F) away from light.
