The loaf is a great recipe because it allows you to customize the list of ingredients to your pet's tastes.
Ingredients:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Mix everything together in a mixing bowl, except for the hard-boiled eggs, ketchup and bacon. Spray a mini loaf pan with non-stick spray. Take a small amount of the mixed meat and put it in the bottom of the pan. Place a hard-boiled egg on top and cover it with more of the meat. Repeat these steps with each loaf. Spread some ketchup on top and place a piece of bacon on each loaf. Bake for one hour and forty minutes. Remove pan from oven and let cool for one hour.
While the name refers to a Dutch oven, this simple and healthy meal can also be made with a crock pot.
Ingredients:
The amount of each ingredient used is up to you, but most experts
agree on a ratio of 40 percent protein, 50 percent vegetables and 10
percent starch. Pets don't need seasoning, so don't add salt, pepper or
butter.
Fill the Dutch oven or crock pot with water and heat to a
slow boil. Wash and chop the potatoes. Add potatoes, including skins,
to the boiling water and cook for 10 minutes. Add meat and vegetables to
boiling water. Stir in oatmeal or pasta and boil for 10 to 15 minutes.
Remove the pot from the heat and allow to cool.
Ingredients:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Spray baking sheet with non-stick spray. Mix everything together in a mixing bowl. Make 10 meatballs out of mixed together ingredients and place them on a baking sheet. Bake for approximately 15 minutes, or until meatballs are cooked in the center. Let cool before serving.
Ingredients:
Heat vegetable oil in skillet over medium heat. Add beef until browned, stirring to avoid burning. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix together. Cook for 3 minutes. Let cool before serving.
