Scratching Posts Aren't Enough

Scratching is a normal behavior for cats. Most owners provide a scratching post or tree for their cats. But most cats simply don't restrict themselves to scratching only where their owner wants them too.

An Alternative to Declawing

Cat claw covers provide a safe and humane alternative to declawing, and are also quite affordable. The covers come in different sizes for cats of every age, weight, and breed. They must be replaced every four to six weeks.

Applying Cat Claw Covers

It's easy to apply claw covers to your cat's feet. There are four basic steps:

  1. Trim your cat's nails. Just snip the tip; don't cut the quick.
  2. Fill the cap with adhesive to the 1/3 mark.
  3. Slide the cap on the nail.
  4. Hold your cat for a minute until the adhesive is set.
