Is the ongoing dosage of Revolution adequate to kill fleas quickly?

Or shall I take additional action such as Capstar? My dog regularly takes Revolution exactly as prescribed. I believe she has picked up a flea(s) during a veterinary visit yesterday.

Revolution is a good general flea prevention but it does not have a rapid kill rate. If you want to kill fleas quickly you can use a product like Capstar as fleas will die within 30 minutes with that product. There are no known contraindications for using the two together. Revolution should keep these new flea's eggs from hatching, even if they stay alive long enough to lay them, so you don't have to use another product. Some people just don't want to see any live fleas and if that's you then there is no harm in using a short acting product like Capstar as well.
